The Club holds its Annual General Meeting in September / October each year. It is the key meeting where members can have their say in how the club operates. Club officials are appointed the club’s activities are discussed.

Please consider this your personal invitation to attend Claro’s Annual get-together at our AGM. It really does make a difference to the club; to create a sense of togetherness and collective outlook that can only happen if we are all there.
NEW VENUE this year. Due to your new Secretary being a tad more casual than the last one, the Green Hut was fully booked henceforth and into the dim and distant future by the time I asked about it. Therefore we have a new venue for the AGM which I hope you will enjoy.
KAIROS CHURCH HALL is at 2 Harlow Terrace (at the junction with West Cliffe Grove, off Cold Bath Road). We are in the smaller carpeted room rather than the big hall, for those who know the venue. Plenty of street parking.
The hall is booked from 7.30 – 9.30; I will aim to be there just prior to 7.30 to open up. We will have access to the kitchen for tea / coffee and if anyone loves baking you are most welcome to bring us a cake …
A few committee members are standing down so do consider if you would like to become Fixtures Secretary, Membership Secretary, Club League Coordinator (trophies to be presented at the AGM to this years winners) or Publicity Officer. There is also space on the committee for two further general members. You would be most welcome.
At the AGM, Tim and Graham will run through the Claro events that are planned for the next year. All need officials to volunteer as Planner, Organiser or Controller. The events will not happen unless we volunteer so please consider it. The roles need not be massively time-consuming and can be very satisfying. An experienced orienteer can mentor you if you are new to the role.
