Claro AGM
The CLARO AGM was held at the Green Hut, on Thursday 12th October 2017. The outgoing speech by chairman Stan is on the website here. The new chairman is Tim Evans and the new secretary is Ruth Ker. Thanks from all to Stan and Vince for their sterling work over the last few years.

Autumn Leaves 2017
The next series of the popular LampO events on Wednesday evenings in Harrogate and Ripon have now started . We hope to see you there! Third event is Wednesday 18th starting and finishing in Bilton. Meet at the Knox Arms, Knox Lane HG1 3AP. Full details are here. Registration is from 6:15pm mass start at 6:30pm Cost is £2 Senior £1 Junior, HV /reflective clothing must be worn, torch essential along with pen/pencil.
AIRE Training Event
AIRE still have some spaces on their coaching weekend on 4-5 November. On the Saturday they will run coaching at Blakeholme and they have booked accommodation in 2- and 4-bed bunk accommodation at Great Tower. On the Sunday they are organising a limited entry race at Great Tower. The cost is £25 for adults and £10 for children; this includes race entry and accommodation but does not include food. Claro Top 10’s
Claros were out in action this weekend in Selby. Alex Robinson was 10th and Matthew Rochester 11th in the MO Category excellent results for the youngest competitors on course A. Tim Evans was 6th in MV ( and 1st M50) , Tamsin Ker was 4th in WJ, Ruth Ker was 2nd in WV (and 1st W50), Sue Birtwistle was 3rd in WSV, Jackie Barnes was 10th WUV. Allen Barnes also raced at the CLOK race at Runswick bay on Saturday and came 1st M75 on the Open course. The map course looked really challenging.
