Claro Top 10s

Well done to the Claro Top 10s this week. 3 intrepid Claros turned up at CLOK’s event on Saturday at  Birk Brow: Ruth Ker, Allen and Jackie Barnes. Ruth was first women on the Open course, Allen was first M75 and Jackie first W70. Feedback from these Saturday morning events has been excellent so they are well worth the short drive north.

Next Claro Events

The next Claro event is the YHOA Night League Event at Conyngham Hall Knaresborough this Saturday 11th November with starts from 6pm . There are courses for everyone including beginners. Full details are on the website here .  Car park charges apply until 6pm; it is free after that.
The following weekend on Sunday 19th it is the Regional event (Level C) at Swinsty and Beecroft. Details here.

New Members

In the dim and distant past when we produced the Clarion we used to advise of new members. In the age of the Weekly we have decided to reintroduce this so a warm welcome to the following new members:-

  • Emma Hardiman  – new to the sport and hopes to meet lots of friendly CLAROs at the Swinsty and Beecroft event on 19 Nov
  • Ashley  and Emma  McAnaw – who have already recorded decent results at HALO’s Londesborough event
