Club League 2022
The double event weekend at Brimham and Ellington Banks brought the 2022 league to a close. Over the 11 events we saw 60 different club members undertake 283 runs. One member, Ruth Ker, was the only one to attend all 11 events. While it was only your best seven events to count, Ruth managed to top the league one point off a possible maximum and just one point from the next person.
Congratulations to Luke Fry, the winner of the Junior Trophy for 2022. A number of juniors appear a bit down the list who might like to be the next recipient after Luke.
Prior to the beginning of this year’s league, the committee agreed to amend the rules such that the same person could not win a trophy more than once in the same age group, and not in consecutive years if changing age group. As Ruth won the Senior trophy last year as a W50, the recipient of the Senior trophy this year is Andrew Kelly. I know Ruth will strive to win it back next year as a W55.
