Spring-O Series 2015
CLARO will run a Spring-O Series, a series of local orienteering events, between April and July 2015. The events will take place on Wednesday evenings and will use electronic timing for start and finish and proper orienteering maps, finishing with the Club Picnic event on Sat 18th July at Valley Gardens. Each event will be preceded by some training activities (based on demand), which will be suitable for all ages (including juniors) and all abilities from complete beginner to more advanced.
These events will usually comprise three courses: a longer course (Green standard), a shorter, intermediate course (Orange standard) and a beginner’s course (White standard) that is suitable for juniors. The two longer courses may occasionally use more novel formats for variety, but there will always be a White standard course provided.
Timings will be as follows:
6pm – Junior Training
From 6pm – Improvers “Informal Training”
6.00pm to 7.00pm – Registration
6.30pm to 7.30pm – Start window
