It will be signed from the turn at Grid reference SE 195 492.  The minor road (Dob Park Road) down from the signed junction is single track. Do not attempt to approach from the North East unless you have a multi-terrain vehicle or helicopter, even if your satnav suggests this. The car park is small, so please car share wherever possible. Charge £1 per car.  Considerably more for helicopters.

COMPETITOR INFORMATION:   All competitors should be aware that the area is very slippery and there are steep and rocky areas on the competition site. This includes the White and Yellow courses. Some of the longer courses traverse some very rocky areas; there is a lot of fallen leaf cover obscuring them, so please take particular care.

White and Yellow competitors : The White competitors should follow the tapes from their control 2 towards their control 3. Yellow competitors should not follow these tapes (from their control 1)

Blue competitors : please be advised that there are 2 butterfly loops on your course.

All courses cross a minor farm access road. There is very little traffic on this road, but please be aware that a vehicle may be on the road. There are two crossing points (depending on course) which are not manned.

FACILITIES:  Portable toilets will be provided.  Water will not be provided for logistical reasons. Please bring your own.

DOGS:  Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

SAFETY:  Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. If travelling alone, please leave your keys at registration. All competitors who start must report to download even if they retire. Whistles and full leg cover compulsory. Waterproof jackets may be compulsory in the case of bad weather. In the unlikely event of cancellation, details will be posted on the Claro website – www.claro-orienteering.org.uk.  Information can also be obtained by phoning the organiser.

RESULTS: These will be posted on the Claro website www.claro-orienteering.org.uk.
