ENTRIES: Entry on the day only (EOD). SportIdent (SI) punching will be used for all courses. Hire dibbers will be available.
FEES: Senior £7, Junior £2.50, SI dibber hire £1 (Juniors 50p) , Car parking £1 per car.
DIRECTIONS: The area is approximately 3 miles north of Otley.
NOTE: Otley Town Centre will be closed to traffic on the day due to the Victorian Christmas Fayre so seek an alternative route.
Dob Park Road is a north turn off the minor road between Otley and the A59 at Blubberhouses. It will be signed from the turn at Grid reference SE 195 492. The car park is small, so please car share wherever possible. Charge £1 per car.
TERRAIN: The area is mixed forest with some steep slopes and scattered rocks. It is mostly runnable with some fine contour detail.
MAP: 1:7,500 scale with 5m contours for all courses; printed on waterproof paper

White | 1.4km – 35m climb | Easy but there is a steep downhill path as part of the course. |
Yellow | 1.9km – 45m climb | Easy |
Orange | 2.4km – 60m climb | Fairly easy |
Light Green | 3.1km – 80m climb | Moderate |
Short Green | 3.2km – 95m climb | Fairly hard |
Green | 4.0km – 170m climb | Hard |
Blue | 5.1km – 250m climb | Hard |

FACILITIES: Portable toilets will be provided. Water will be available at the finish.
DOGS: Unfortunately no dogs are allowed.
SAFETY: Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. If travelling alone, please leave your keys at registration. All competitors who start must report to download even if they retire. Whistles and full leg cover compulsory. Waterproof jackets may be compulsory in the case of bad weather. PHOTOGRAPHY: In accordance with the British Orienteering Child Welfare Policy and Procedures, the organiser of this event requires that any person wishing to engage in any video, zoom or close range photography should register their details with the organiser before carrying out any such photography.
