Family Orienteering at Harlow Carr – 2nd September. Can you help?

As part of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Summer Series of events for families ,Claro has volunteered to provide and support courses for younger juniors within Harlow Carr Gardens on Friday, September 2nd.  The expectation is that there will be a lot of fairly young families visiting the Gardens during the holiday season, and our courses should be a welcome distraction for children not wholly engaged by botany.

The plan is for White and Yellow courses using full SI.  The courses will be free and confined to the extensive footpath network at Harlow Carr.  We will be running them from about 10.00 am to around 3.30pm.

We are looking for volunteers to help run the session on a shift basis, which will be advised when team numbers are established.  We will be needing people for SI, registration, meeting, greeting  and explaining.  Helpers on the team list will have free entry to the gardens!

Further information will appear here, but in the meantime offers of help will be greatly appreciated by Richard Kirk on dickthelawyer@gmail.com
