A delightful series of summer early evening events in local woods.

Enter by the Monday, 5pm, before each event; if possible enter by the previous Thursday, midnight, to help with map printing. We usually print a few extra maps for entry on the day. Please email the entry secretary and you may get lucky!
Start times 6.00 – 6.45pm. Courses close: 7.30pm.
Contactless punching will be available for those with SIAC cards, otherwise standard electronic punching (e-cards available for hire).
Courses for all: Short and Long Beginners, Short and Long Experienced
Orienteering coaching will be run by Quentin just before each event.

Tue, 21st June, Conyngham Hall Park
For those looking to come by either walking, bike, public transport or car please please make your way to the Conyngham Park, what3words ///smiling.imply.repeated, where both the start/finish are situated. Parking can be found at the entrance to the park, it is believed that parking is free after 6pm but please check.
The Beginner’s courses are all kept inside the park walls and are safe from traffic. The Experienced courses will cross a car park and use a short length of path beside an A road, children under 16 cannot take part in these courses unless shadowed by a responsible adult.
Courses available:
Short Beginners 1.5 km 20m climb
Long Beginners 2.7km 65m climb
Short Experienced 1.9km 60m climb
Long Experienced 4.0km 100m climb
Loose descriptions for the Experienced will be available. The map is at a scale of 1:4000.

Full SI on all courses, with SI Air in operation.
Quentin’s club coaching for this event will start at 5:30pm at the start/finish. Further exercises to practice those compass and pacing skills will be available, so please bring a compass.
