YHOA Sprint Champs, Jennyfields Harrogate, Sun 19th July 26
Claro welcomes you to the YHOA Sprint Championships in Harrogate. Jennyfields is a mature housing estate with winding avenues, and many ginnels and areas of grass and trees. The event is centred on Killinghall Moor Community Park where the junior courses will be based and be completely off road. There will also be accessible courses.

To guarantee a map, enter before midnight, Sun 12th July. After that, limited entries will be available until Thursday 5pm. Any remaining maps will be available for entry on the day. All entries after July 12th will be subject to a £2 supplement. Enquiries to entries@claro-orienteering.org.uk.
Courses: Competitors will have two runs in two different areas, north and south of the busy Jennyfields Drive. The first run will be for the YHOA Champs, whilst both runs combined will count for the YHOA Urban League. In the YHOA Champs there will be prizes for the first three competitors from a YHOA club in each class. When entering at Racesignup you can choose a 15min start block and are expected to start in the same block for both runs. The event timings are:
First course starts: 10.30 to 11.45
First course closing: 12.15
Second course starts: 12.15 to 13.30
Second course closing: 14.00

There will also be two accessible courses – one around the park and the other on streets nearby. Contact the planner for further information.
Transport: There is good public transport with buses direct from Harrogate train station to Killinghall Moor every 30mins. The event centre is a 40 min walk or 15 min cycle ride from Harrogate Railway/Bus station.
Parking: public car park at the event centre but late arrivals may need to find on-street parking with some important restrictions (see final details). There is a 2.4m height barrier at the car park – larger vehicles should park at the Co-op on Jennyfields Drive, 10-15 min walk. Please car share.
Facilities: The Daly Brew Cafe will be open at the event centre with hot and cold drinks, cakes and bacon butties. The cafe is run by volunteers for the junior football club funds. They are opening for us and allowing use of toilets, so please support them.
