Summer Evenings 2: Jacob Smith Park, Wed 20th May

The second in a series of six evening events orienteering in lovely local woods and parks.  You are invited to………
the second of our summer evening events in Jacob Smith Park, Knaresborough

Venue: Just inside the park gates off Scriven Road. Bags and clothing can be left here while you run.
Location w3w: theory.negotiators.coining, postcode: HG5 9EH. Parking is on nearby streets. Please park considerately for local residents.
Times: Registration from 1800, Starts from 18.15 to 19.00 Courses close 1945.
The event will enjoy full contactless e-timing (SportIdent)

Courses: This week we will be offering a series of 4 ‘sprint’ courses, each about 1.3km to 1.5km. You can run as many of them as you wish. There will also be a Short Beginners course of 1km. You are welcome to try this first and then progress onto the other courses. As all the courses are contained within the park they are ideal for juniors.

Entry details: British Orienteering senior members £6, non-members £7; juniors £2. Timing chip hire: Seniors £1, Juniors £0.50 . Please note, the fee for a lost chip is £30. Enter by midnight Sun May 17th for a guaranteed map.
