Bilton Meadows and Nidd Gorge

Largely new area mapped by Quentin. Attractive grasslands, woodlands and the steep, stunning Nidd Gorge.
Courses planned to keep you out of the summer vegetation so long as you use your map, eyes and nous. Wear full leg cover and shoes with grip.
Short section of road on Long Experienced only.

We will be based on the grass near the junction of Tennyson Avenue and Meadow Drive in Bilton. Look for the Claro banner and then walk north along that path for 50m. Buses from Harrogate and Ripley (727H and various number 2s). Arriving by bike or foot – we will have somewhere dry for you to leave your belongings. If parking, use the nearby roads however be prepared to park a little distance away in order to not upset any Biltonians – there are many driveways and please do not mount the pavement which is in constant use.
