Transport: Bus: The number 3 from the centre of Harrogate stops 70m from the event centre. Fares are currently capped at £2. Road: from A61 Ripon Road, Harrogate, turn up Jennyfield Drive. After approx. 0.75 mile follow signpost to Country Park, turning left into Saltergate Drive. Continue to follow signs. The car park is adjacent to the sports pavilion.

Timings:   Registration opens 1745, Starts from1800-1900, Courses close 1930. 

Event fees: BOF Members £5, Non-members £6, Juniors £3. Timing chip hire: Seniors £1, Juniors £0.50 (fee for a lost chip: £30).

Short Beginners: 1.5 km
Long Beginners: 2.3 km
Short Experienced: 2.9 km
Long Experienced: 4.2km
Full electronic timing (contactless enabled) on all courses.

Terrain and course notes: Killinghall Moor is a mixed area of runnable open and rough open land, with some areas of undergrowth – full leg cover is recommended. The Beginners courses are all on grass or paths. The Experienced courses extend into the local urban area. Due to a road crossing, Long Experienced is only available for unaccompanied runners who are 16 or over (insurance requirement).

Coaching: a pre-event coaching session will be led by Quentin Harding from 1720, with the opportunity afterwards to practise skills learned on the course of your choice. Topic for this session: Distance judgement. The intention is that the session will end shortly after 1800 to allow evening courses to be completed.
