Primrose Lane Primary School offers an enclosed and compact school environment. Ideal for a safe introduction to sprint-style urban orienteering.
This event will be hosted jointly with Primrose Lane PTA – drinks, snacks and games will be available to enjoy for a nominal fee/donation.

Parking: on the streets surrounding the school – please park carefully and be considerate of local residents. Assembly will be within the school grounds, accessed by a single gate marked with the CLARO feather off either Westwood Way or Primrose Lane.

Starts 1.30-3pm. Courses close at 3.30pm.

Courses: Several short ‘sprint’-style urban orienteering courses ranging in length and complexity – from short introductory level to courses for more experienced junior orienteers. Novice adults/parents welcome to participate.

Map: 1:1000 scale (1cm on the map = 10m on the ground). All courses are flat with no climb. Control descriptions printed on the map. Base map donated by Simon Martland.

Competitor information: Please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions. There is no toilet at the event – the nearest public toilets are next to the library in Boston Spa (W3W: thrusters.works.flow; 10 mins walk; parking adjacent).
