Terrain description: Hell-Wath – a disused army camp of old. Plenty of lumps and bumps and things to hide behind. Situated next to the beautiful River Skell (Studley Roger abuts on the far bank), where deer and barn owls have been sighted whilst planning amidst the bluebells and wild garlic. We’ve done our best to avoid placing controls in nettle patches but if you’re not trained in the art of weed trampling then you may prefer to wear leg cover!

Coaching: a pre-event coaching session will be led by Quentin Harding starting at 17:20, with the opportunity to afterwards practise skills learned on the course of your choice. The session is planned to end shortly after 18:00 to allow evening courses to be completed. Bring your compass.
