Two alternative methods are used to record controls:
– using MapRun software on Garmin watch or smartphone
– a rather more traditional paper method.
If you’ve not used MapRun before, you can give it a go with permanently available score events here, where there is also a link to how to use MapRun. Details for downloading courses for each event will be provided in individual event details. You can choose which punching method you would like to use at each event up until the point of starting, and help with either system is available at the briefing. Any non-entry queries to: Quentin Harding (a whizz with MapRun!)
Safety
Remember to bring: Hi-vis/reflective clothing, head torch, watch and either pen/pencil/sharpie (for paper method) or a charged smart phone (for MapRun method).
These events will cover urban areas that require the crossing of roads. Please cross safely.
Unfortunately, as the events are on public roads, juniors (Under 16s) can only take part if they are supervised by an adult. This is due to BOF insurance requirements.
Entry
Entry to the events is by pre-entry only via the Google form here
Entry needs to be made before 5pm on the Monday before the event if entering events individually. The events can be entered individually OR you can enter all 6 events at once (season ticket) – see below.

Payment
Pre-entries – £3 per event paid by bank transfer before 5pm on the Monday before the event.
Entry on the night – cash only, but please note no change will be given.
Season ticket option for all 6 events – £15 by bank transfer with entry by 5pm Monday 16 Jan 23
